SERVICES OFFERED: A free, community based, one-on-one tutoring program which utilizes volunteer tutors to work with students between the ages of six and fourteen. Students work with tutors for two hours a week on improving their word recognition, reading comprehension, spelling, writing, and computer skills. We work out of the Bernalillo County Community Centers, with locations at APS after school sites during the school year. School year sites include workshops, homework assistance and study skills. Summer community center services include a recreation based academic curriculum.
